CDM & Asbestos Consultancy appointed in tandem at three Peterborough Sites
Following our retained client’s decision to demolish three mixed use city centre sites located in the heart of Peterborough, our Asbestos Consultancy and CDM Consultancy has been appointed in tandem to allow both sets of services to be provided with one point of contact.
Prior to demolition our BOHS P402 trained asbestos surveyors provided Asbestos Demolition Surveys to locate all Asbestos Containing Materials to ensure that these could be removed safely by appropriate means prior to the main demolition works commencing. This is the latest in a string of recent appointments for our Asbestos Consultancy, reinforcing the benefits of appointing a surveying firm who is not linked to an asbestos contracting firm, therefore resulting in genuinely independent and impartial reports and analysis.
In tandem, we are also acting as CDM Co-ordinator under the CDM Regulations 2007 to ensure that the demolition works in this sensitive area are undertaken safely and in accordance with best practice.
